This is a great project to get familiar with your sergers decorative stitch possibilities. You will be using decorative thread while learning the following techniques:

- Installing flat-fold piping
- Weaving ribbon or thread through a flat-lock stitch
- Using a 3-thread stitch instead of binding your edges
